Mary Mattingly realized that the South Bronx was one of the most depleted ares of fresh and healthy foods in the U.S. She decided to start a conversation about how we use land by creating a garden on a barge that feeds and educates communities about healthy eating, sustainability, and stewardship.
Strategy
Swale presents a bold thinking about how we use land and think about food but lacks an engaging and bold voice. Through a interactive website, print campaign, app that connects volunteers and visitors, and merch. Swale will be enabled to clearly engage the targeted community.
